Focusing on Strengths Builds Strong Teams
Identifying and learning team members’ strengths is an effective technique for building strong teams. The CliftonStrengths assessment was developed to uncover people’s natural talents. Don Clifton, a notable psychologist, wanted to study what people do right versus what they do wrong.

The assessment results provide a person’s top 5 talents or strengths. These can be used to build collaborative, people-focused teams. When people understand each other’s strengths, they can shape their working groups to emphasize their talents and ultimately build stronger teams.

Her woo talent was in full throttle as she would move from table to table, making quick, intimate connections with her customers. She employs this skill when meeting new people, where she works to learn people’s why and how to connect to her work. This makes Amanda a great asset to any organization that needs to win over clients, partners, and staff.
